Why Regular Hearing Assessments are So Important
Every morning when you look in the mirror, you don’t notice the minuscule changes of ageing that have occurred over the previous day, yet when you see old pictures of yourself, the differences are clear to see.
The challenge with hearing loss is that it often happens gradually which makes it difficult to notice the small changes with no comparison to what your hearing was once like.
This is why so many of us live in denial of a hearing loss and instead choose to blame others for mumbling or the television for being too quiet.
Yet a simple hearing assessment allows you to get a clear picture of any hearing challenges that you may be facing and be able to understand the steps that can be taken to restore your level of hearing to what it once was.
It’s quick, non-invasive and you’ll receive the results straight away – allowing you to either have a baseline to test against in the future, or an understanding of the treatment available to allow you to continue to bring your differences to the world.
I can either visit you for a hearing assessment or you can visit our office, but your first step is to schedule an assessment by completing the form on this page of calling 404-777-5252.

What Happens at a Hearing Assessment
#1 – Tell Me Everything
I start by getting to know you, your lifestyle and what has resulted in you scheduling a hearing assessment. The more I understand what you’re looking to achieve and what your life looks like, the more I can often help.
#2 – 12 – Step Hearing Evaluation
Much more advanced than most, I check your hearing in multiple ways to ensure your overall hearing health is positive before starting the assessment by asking you to wear some headphones and listen for a range of sounds in different frequencies.
#3 – Review the Results
Once completed, I’ll share your results, explain what they mean and if a hearing loss is found, I can share the options that are available to you.
